PRESENTATION STEPS
| Step | Teacher's Activity | Students' Activity |
|---|---|---|
| Step 1: Introduction | Guides a introductory discussion: Asks students to list electronic devices they used today and differentiate analog signals from digital binary signals. | Identify everyday electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, laptops) and discuss how data is processed digitally. |
| Step 2: Meaning of Digital Technologies | Defines digital technologies as electronic tools, systems, devices, and resources that generate, store, process, or transmit data using binary code (0s and 1s). | Listen attentively, write down definitions, and contrast digital systems with traditional analog technology. |
| Step 3: Scope of Digital Technologies | Outlines the six primary branches: Computing Hardware/Software, Telecommunications, Internet/Web Tech, Data Analytics/AI, Cloud Services, and Cybersecurity. | Group everyday digital platforms into their respective domain branches on the board. |
| Step 4: Relevance in Modern Society | Explores sectoral impacts: Education (e-learning), Healthcare (telemedicine), Commerce (e-commerce, fintech), Agriculture, and Communication. | Analyze real-world examples such as mobile banking apps, online CBT exams, and digital farming tools. |
| Step 5: Evaluation & Summary | Summarizes key points on the board and conducts an evaluation session using review questions. | Answer evaluation questions orally and record homework instructions in exercise books. |
