Students have basic knowledge of computers, smartphones and other digital devices. They have also learned basic and advanced uses of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Step 1: Introduction	The teacher asks students to mention things they see, watch, listen to or create on their phones and computers. The teacher introduces the concept of digital media.	Students mention examples such as pictures, videos, music, documents, animations and social media posts.
Step 2: Meaning of Digital Media	The teacher explains digital media as content that is created, stored, processed and shared in digital form using electronic devices.	Students listen and write down the definition.
Step 3: Examples of Digital Media	The teacher displays examples of digital images, videos, audio, animations, digital documents and web content.	Students identify and classify the examples shown.
Step 4: Importance of Digital Media	The teacher explains how digital media is used in education, communication, entertainment, business, advertising and information sharing.	Students discuss how they use digital media in their everyday lives.
Step 5: Creating Digital Content	The teacher demonstrates how simple digital content can be created using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, image editors or smartphone applications.	Students observe the demonstration and identify the tools being used.
Step 6: Editing Digital Content	The teacher demonstrates simple editing activities such as cropping an image, adding text, changing colours, trimming a video or adjusting an image.	Students observe and, where possible, practise the demonstrated activities.
Step 7: Practical Activity	The teacher instructs students to create a simple digital poster containing a title, short message and image.	Students create a simple digital poster using an available digital tool.
Step 8: Conclusion	The teacher reviews the meaning, examples, importance, creation and editing of digital media.	Students answer review questions and contribute to the discussion.
